This Friday, Mainstreet Rockville is hosting its annual “Trick or Treat Around the Square” from 5 to 7 pm.
Merchants and members of local organizations will be handing out goodies on the sidewalks of the Square. All four sides are packed with activities and treats. Kids that hit all four sides of the square will bring home a big bag of candy!
Hungry for a little bit more? For only $1.00, you can get a hot dog & soda in the Sentinel parking lot (that’s the southwest corner of the square).
Costume contests will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the north entrance to the courthouse. Contest categories include
- Best kid costumes
- Scariest, Funniest, Prettiest, & Best Homemade
- Best Female and Male adult costumes
- Best pet costume
If your business or organization is not on the square but would like to participate, contact Mike Sasin at (765) 569-8741 to reserve a spot. You can either pass out candy and/or create a game in the trunk of your vehicle. The kids also love it if you dress up yourself and/or decorate your vehicle.
